Based on my last blog post I think I should just comment a bit more on the pagerank points. The thing is that the search engines keep their algorithms for determining pageranks very confidential. So what effort it requires to obtain a point is a very hard question to answer. Simply put I guess you can equal a point to e.g. a link from domains with pagerank – But I warn you – this is very simplistic way of looking at it. This also means that while the exact points for each pagerank mentioned last, may not be completely accurate, it does very well in explaining the system. Basically the pagerank scale works very much like the Richter scale used for measuring the magnitude of earthquakes, which is a logarithmic scale where the impact is increased by a multiple for each step on the scale.

The world’s allegedly smartest person Marilyn Vos Savant wrote a book a couple of years ago where she states her opinion about taxes. The brainy lady apparently feels that that a head tax would be the best solution for everyone.
